Delete Your Account

Account erasure with a 7-day grace period · Help Protect, LLC

You can delete your Murder of Lies account from inside the game. Deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period: you are signed out everywhere immediately, and the account is permanently erased after the window ends. Signing back in during the window lets you cancel. If you cannot access the app, you can send us a deletion request here.

Delete from Settings

  1. Open the case menu and choose Settings.
  2. Open Account Docket and choose Delete Account.
  3. Read the final warning and confirm. The deletion is scheduled 7 days out; sign back in within those 7 days if you change your mind.

Send a verified request

Use the Help Protect contact form with the email address associated with your Apple or Google sign-in. Begin the message with “Delete my Murder of Lies account.” We may ask you to verify control of the account before deletion.

What is removed

Your account file is destroyed

Once the 7-day grace period ends, your account and associated data are removed. Shared cases may remain for other players after your identity and distinguishable contributions are removed. Limited transaction records may be retained for up to seven years where required, and restricted backups for up to 35 days. See the Privacy Policy.

Important · Store billing

Deletion does not cancel a subscription

Apple and Google control store subscriptions. Cancel through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings before deleting the game account. Once the grace period ends, deletion is permanent and removes unused progress and access associated with the account.
